INSPECTIONS TO CATCH UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS, SEVERAL VIOLATIONS FOUND

Manama: The authorities have started an investigation to find expatriates working illegally in Bahrain without sufficient documents. Last day, labor inspectors visited various places in the Southern Governorate and conducted inspections. It has also been informed that further action has been taken against the law violators. 


Labor Market Regulatory Authority officials and inspectors from various other ministries visited work sites in different parts of the governorate yesterday. The fingerprints of the workers were collected and the information was verified using it. 

In a statement issued yesterday, it was announced that other violations of the labor market and immigration laws were found during the inspection. Necessary legal action was taken for violations found.
