UAE FLOOD, TWO SUSPENDED TRANSPORT SERVICES RESUMED

Sharjah: Two transport services that were temporarily suspended due to heavy rains and floods in the UAE have resumed. Transport services to Fujairah and Kalba have resumed. It was suspended on July 28.


Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has temporarily suspended transport services to the eastern regions. Intercity buses to Fujairah and Kalba, 611 line (Sharjah-Fujairah-Kalba) have been restarted, officials said on Monday. 

But the Shardajah-Fujairah-Khorfaqan line number 116 to Khorfaqan will not continue until further notice. A major road in Fujairah has been reopened to traffic after two days of closure. The Ministry of Home Affairs announced on Monday that the Fubaira-Quidfa ring road has been opened.
