SAUDI ARABIAN VISITORS CAN NOW OBTAIN ONLINE FROM GULF NATIONS

Riyadh: Foreigners from Gulf countries now need an online visa to visit Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia announced that foreigners with residence records in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman will be granted online visit visas. 


Visa application should be made through the online portal visitsaudi.com/visa. Eligible professions are listed in the online application form. Eligible profession holders for resident card must submit the information and documents required by the visa authority online. Applicants' passport should be valid for at least six months and residence card should be valid for at least three months. 

Once the application is submitted, the visa will be received by e-mail after verification by the Ministry. This visa can be used for sightseeing, performing Umrah and visiting Madinah. Both single entry and multiple entry visas are available. The visa fee is 300 riyals. Apart from this, there will be the cost of health insurance.
