ALL VISAS IN OMAN EXTENDED, NEW VISAS WILL BE ISSUED FROM SEPTEMBER 1

Muscat: Police and Customs Operations Assoc. Inspector General Major General Abdullah Al Harti informed that all visas in Oman has been extended. The action is as per the directions of the Supreme Committee.


Holders of new visas may enter Oman in compliance with Civil Aviation Authority standards, including two-dose vaccines. In addition, all visas issued from January this year have been extended. There is no special fee for extending the term. Those outside the country can find out about the extension by visiting the ROP website.

Those who have been out of the country for more than six months will be allowed entry at the request of the sponsor. Major Abdullah Al-Harti said that arrangements are in place to facilitate the process.

The Director General of the Disease Control Division at the Ministry of Health said that a single dose of the vaccine is mandatory for foreigners to renew their visas, Saif al-Abri said. He said that from October 1, both nationals and foreigners will be required to receive two doses of the vaccine. It is also important to ensure that precautionary measures are followed.
