'KINDER SURPRISE' CHOCLATES WITHDRAWN IN QATAR, UAE

Doha: The UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MoCCAE) has ordered the removal and recall of a certain batch of Kinder Surprise Uovo Maxi chocolate eggs, each weighing 100 grammes, from UAE market shelves.


"The decision is based on reports and technical information on the registration of salmonella infections in many European countries linked to the consumption of Kinder chocolate products," the MoCCAE stated on Friday in a social media alert.
