THUNDERSTORMS PREDICTED IN CERTAIN PARTS OF OMAN

Muscat: The Oman Meteorology Department issued a warning about the continuance of convective cloud formation today, Saturday, with rain of various intensity and thunder accompanied by active downward winds that cause dust to rise on the western and eastern parts of the Al Hajar Mountains.


According to Oman Meteorology, this will occur primarily in the hilly portions of the governorates of North and South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, and North and South Al Sharqiyah.
