ARAB COALITION FORCES REPEAL HOUTHI ATTACKS TARGETING SAUDI ARABIA

Riyadh: The Arab League says it has thwarted attacks by Houthis in Yemen targeting Saudi Arabia. A statement issued by the Arab League on Thursday said several drones sent by the Houthis had been destroyed. Arab Coalition forces repeal Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia.


The Arab League says in a statement that the attack was carried out by Iranian - backed Houthis targeting Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia. The army also accused the Houthis of continuing to target various parts of Saudi Arabia on a daily basis. The Arab League on Wednesday attacked Houthi strongholds in the southern Yemeni city of Taiz.

 Eight people, including Indians, were injured in an attack on the Abha airport in Saudi Arabia last week. The Arab League was preventing drone and missile strikes on the airport. Airport staff were injured when the wreckage of the drones fell.
