ATTEMPTS BEING MADE TO SEVER RELATIONS BETWEEN INDIA AND QATAR

Doha: The Indian embassy has warned that some attempts are being made to sever ties between India and Qatar by spreading hate speech on social media. The embassy agreed in a tweet in Arabic on its Twitter account.


"There are vicious attempts on social media to divide and spread hatred between friendly countries India and Qatar by spreading false news about India. I urge everyone to beware. Do not believe fake accounts, false propaganda and fabricated videos," the embassy tweeted.

The embassy requested all Indians to maintain unity and peace. The embassy also tweeted in English.
