DRONE STRIKE AT JIZAN AIRPORT IN SAUDI ARABIA, 10 INJURED INCLUDING PASSENGERS

Riyadh:  Drone strike at Jizan airport in Saudi Arabia. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jizan. Ten people, including passengers, were injured in the incident. 


The attack took place on Friday evening when there were several passengers, including foreigners. Arab coalition spokesman Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki said two drones loaded with explosives were targeted from Yemen. The two drones were intercepted by the Saudi Air Force, but the wreckage crashed into the airport. Six passengers and four crew members sustained minor injuries, authorities said. All the injured passengers are Saudi nationals. One Saudi national, three Bangladeshi nationals and one Sudanese were injured in the attack. 

The other day, there was an attack by Houthis targeting Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Saudi military base. Four people were injured in an attack on Abha International Airport on Thursday. The drone, which was launched by the Houthis to attack here, was destroyed by Saudi forces, but the wreckage landed at the airport.
