SAUDI ARABIA SAYS 10 LAKH PILGRIMS ALLOWED TO PERFORM HAJJ THIS TIME

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said it will allow 10 lakh pilgrims to perform the Hajj this time. This includes foreign and domestic pilgrims. Quotas for each country will be announced soon. The ministry also said that Hajj will be allowed only for those below 65 years of age. 

Pilgrims must complete a dose of Covid 19 Vaccine approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health. Foreign pilgrims are also required to produce a Covid negative certificate taken within 72 hours of departure. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that in the wake of the Covid, pilgrims should take precautionary measures to maintain their health and safety.
