HOTEL RESERVATIOS FOR ON-ARRIVAL VISA HOLDERS MUST BE MADE THROUGH " DISCOVER QATAR "

Doha: Qatar is enforcing a legislation that requires on-arrival visa holders from India, Iran, and Pakistan to pre-book hotel stays in the nation through "Discover Qatar." Despite the fact that the change was implemented just a few days ago, the hotel booking link was deleted from Discover Qatar's website in response to expat protests. 


Along with the hotel booking link, the Discover Qatar website also suggests contacting the Interior Ministry for more information. A link is also provided for this. If you contact the Ministry through this link, you will get complete information regarding the issuance of various visas to foreigners from each country. 

When asked if hotel booking was mandatory, Discover Qatar said, "If booking is mandatory at Ihtiras, then booking is mandatory." From today, applicants for on-arrival visas will also have to book a hotel room.
