Riyadh - Jeddah Transport Company has announced a special discount on sea taxi fares in celebration of Eid Al-Fitr. As part of the offer, fares have been reduced to 25 SAR on the route connecting Jeddah Yacht Club and Jeddah Historic District from March 23 to April 3. Previously, ticket prices during Ramadan ranged between 25-50 SAR.
Children under 10 can travel for free under this offer. The Jeddah Sea Taxi service, which began on March 6, currently operates between the Yacht Club and Historic District. The initiative aims to improve urban transportation, promote maritime travel, and boost tourism in the region.
Jeddah Mayor Saleh Al-Turki has also announced plans to develop 20 modern sea taxi stations to accommodate up to 29,000 passengers per day, enhancing connectivity between the Obhur waterfront and central and northern Jeddah while reducing road traffic congestion.
