Doha: A unique celebration of Qatar’s fishing heritage and marine innovation is set to begin tomorrow at the Old Mina Port in Doha. The Mina Fishing Exhibition, running from April 9 to 12, promises a vibrant experience for fishing enthusiasts, hobbyists, and industry professionals alike.
Organizers have confirmed that all preparations are in place for the four-day event, which will feature more than 30 local fishing brands, live marine demonstrations, hands-on experiences, and thrilling fishing competitions. The event aims to showcase both traditional fishing culture and the latest advancements in the sector.
Mohammed Abdullah Al Mulla, CEO of Old Doha Port, described the exhibition as a one-stop shop for everything related to fishing. He emphasized that the event is designed to bring together a community that shares a deep love for the sea, blending heritage with modern innovations in a dynamic environment.
The exhibition will be held daily from 4 pm to 9 pm and is free for all visitors. Organizers invite families, professionals, and sea enthusiasts to explore the wonders of Qatar’s rich fishing traditions at this inaugural event.
