  • 31/03/2022

Doha: The Ministry of Health has announced that masks will no longer be mandatory for students in schools and nurseries across the country. The exemption will take effect from April 3. At the same time, the ministry added that students who wish to wear the mask can do so. The move comes as the Covid situation in Qatar is under control.

At the same time, the requirement that students who have not been vaccinated should have an antigen test once a week remains unchanged. Children who have not yet been exposed to Covid should have an antigen test at home. The ministry advised the students to take necessary Covid precautions and not to give up vigilance.
