SEVEN ARABS ARRESTED FOR BUYING LUXURY CARS AND SMUGGLING THEM ABROAD TO LAUNDER BLACK MONEY

Doha: The Ministry of Interior of Qatar has announced that it has arrested seven people of Arab origin who committed financial crimes. The accused were arrested by the Economic and Cyber ​​Crimes Prevention Department. 


The ministry also tweeted that they used to buy luxury cars and smuggle them abroad to launder the illegally obtained money. After correcting the permits, the ministry seized all seven vehicles ready to be exported out of the country and presented them for public prosecution. The video of this has been shared by the Ministry on Twitter.

The ministry also stated that the accused have been handed over to public prosecution for completion of other legal procedures.
